Back when I could barely hold a paintbrush on my own, my grandma introduced me to the joy of art. She encouraged me to use color generously and reminded me that getting paint on your favorite shirt is simply part of the process.

I continue to find any excuse to create, and I think the excitement of a blank canvas will  forever rank among my favorite things.

I’m drawn to contrast, movement, and the feeling a scene or moment can hold. Creating art is my way of slowing down and translating those impressions into something tangible.
